Volunteer Opportunities

Each day our care teams are joined by specially trained volunteers who step with grace and compassion into the lives of patients and families in need. They offer patients the gift of time -- a presence in the room, a friend to talk to, a hand to hold. They provide respite to exhausted family members. The gift of their time and touch make a huge difference. This is a difference you can make, too.

The Gift of Time

Our volunteers give their time to support our patients and care teams, and help our office teams with the work that runs our business at Fremont Regional Hospice.

How You Can Help

Fremont Regional Hospice Introduces the Pet Peace of Mind Program®

Volunteers are needed now to assist in starting this brand new program and help implement into our communities.  This program is designed to assist hospice patients and families with the care of their beloved pets at a time when they are least able to provide for them.  This program will support patients by supplying in-home pet care, pet food and cat litter, routine veterinary care, preventative medication for heartworms, flea and tick control, temporary boarding in emergency patient situations, and assist patients by helping them find a home for their pet when needed.

Best yet, there is NO age limit in helping build this program! Schools, organizations, and members of the community of all ages can help with food donations and supplies. Contact us today to become part of this wonderful program.
